Adult Speech and Language Therapist - Band 6

Manx Care is seeking an Adult Speech and Language Therapist at Band 6 level to provide specialist assessment and treatment for adult communication and swallowing disorders.

What you'll do

• Assess adult communication disorders.
• Assess swallowing difficulties.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide speech and language therapy.
• Provide dysphagia management.
• Monitor patient progress.
• Document clinical assessments.
• Educate patients and caregivers.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support discharge and rehabilitation planning.

What we're looking for

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
• HCPC registration.
• Relevant clinical experience.
• Knowledge of adult communication disorders.
• Knowledge of dysphagia management.
• Strong clinical assessment skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong documentation skills.
