What you'll do
- Provide nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia.
- Assess patients in the post-anesthesia care unit.
- Monitor vital signs and clinical status.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Recognize and respond to postoperative complications.
- Communicate patient status to physicians and healthcare teams.
- Document assessments and interventions.
- Provide patient and family education.
- Maintain patient safety and infection-control standards.
- Support safe transfer and discharge of patients.
What we're looking for
- Current Registered Nurse registration in Ontario.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current BLS certification.
- Acute-care or perioperative nursing experience preferred.
- Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
