Software Engineer, Agent Dev Velocity

Notion is seeking a Software Engineer for its Agent Dev Velocity team to build tooling and evaluation infrastructure that helps engineering teams ship high-quality AI products faster and more safely.

What you'll do

• Build tooling and infrastructure for AI evaluation workflows.
• Develop reliable production systems for engineering teams.
• Integrate evaluation systems into AI development workflows.
• Design systems involving queues, retries, idempotency, and backfills.
• Build and maintain data pipelines.
• Develop measurement and evaluation systems.
• Create developer tooling and internal engineering platforms.
• Collaborate with AI product, platform, and infrastructure teams.
• Improve reliability and quality of AI development workflows.

What we're looking for

• Strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience shipping production systems.
• Proficiency with TypeScript, Node.js, and/or Python.
• Experience with distributed systems.
• Experience working with data pipelines.
• Strong testing and benchmarking skills.
• Experience with LLM evaluation is a plus.
• Familiarity with developer tooling is a plus.
