Surgical Technologist - Operating Room

What you'll do

• Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures.
• Select and organize surgical instruments and supplies.
• Maintain sterile technique throughout procedures.
• Assist surgical teams in the scrub role.
• Prepare equipment before surgical procedures.
• Maintain instrumentation and supplies.
• Follow infection prevention and safety procedures.
• Anticipate surgical team requirements.
• Assist with room turnover between procedures.
• Collaborate with nurses, surgeons and other operating-room personnel.

What we're looking for

• Completion of an accredited surgical technology program.
• Surgical technologist certification preferred or required according to applicable standards.
• Knowledge of sterile and aseptic technique.
• Knowledge of surgical instrumentation.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
